By installing the Save AI browser extension, signing in on www.saveai.one, or using any other part of Save AI (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install the extension and do not sign in. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective date and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
Save AI is a browser extension that exports conversations from supported AI websites into local files (PDF, Word, Markdown, JSON, TXT, long screenshot). Word, Markdown, JSON, TXT and long-screenshot exports are generated locally in your browser. PDF export is rendered on our server by default and your conversation content is uploaded for rendering; you can switch PDF to local rendering in the extension settings. A small set of optional features — namely Google account sign-in, anonymous usage analytics, and feedback/uninstall form submissions — is provided by a backend service operated at saveai.one / www.saveai.one. The list of supported AI websites and exact features may change as we add, modify, or remove integrations.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that your use of the Service does not violate any law that applies to you.
The Service can be used anonymously without an account. If you choose to create an account, you do so by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure; we never see your Google password. You may not use someone else's account or share yours with others. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
Save AI is completely free to use. All features — every supported AI site, every export format — are free and unlimited, with no paid tier, no quotas and no daily limits.

Save AI, the Save AI logo, the saveai.one / www.saveai.one websites, the browser Extension code, and all related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights other than the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension and the Service for personal or internal business use.
The conversations you export remain yours. We do not claim any rights in your exported files or in the conversation data they contain. Word, Markdown, JSON, TXT and long-screenshot exports are generated locally in your browser and are never transmitted to us. For PDF, our default server-side rendering uploads your conversation content to us solely to render the file — we use it only to render that PDF and for no other purpose, and you do not grant us any licence over that content; you can also switch PDF to local rendering in the extension settings so that nothing is uploaded. We process only the limited data described in the Privacy Policy (such as your account details and any feedback you choose to send us).
The Service reads conversations from third-party AI websites (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.). Your use of those websites is governed by their own terms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those providers. Their websites may change in ways that temporarily break export support; we will fix breakage as quickly as practical but make no guarantee of uninterrupted compatibility.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT EXPORTS WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE FOR EVERY POSSIBLE CONVERSATION SHAPE, OR THAT THIRD-PARTY AI WEBSITE INTEGRATIONS WILL REMAIN FUNCTIONAL OVER TIME.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SAVE AI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$50 (OR ITS EQUIVALENT IN YOUR LOCAL CURRENCY). THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Save AI and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (c) any content you process with the Service that you did not have the right to process.
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Extension and, if you have an account, requesting deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without prior notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or that suspension is necessary to protect the Service or its users.
The following sections survive termination: Sections 8 (Intellectual property), 9 (Your content), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Limitation of liability), 13 (Indemnification), and 15 (Governing law).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Save AI is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, at our option. Each party waives any right to bring or participate in a class action.
We may from time to time offer features marked "beta", "preview", or similar. Such features are provided on an experimental basis, may change or be withdrawn without notice, and are excluded from any service-level promises. You should not rely on beta features for critical work.
Notices to you may be delivered by email to the address tied to your account, by posting on this page, or by a banner on the Service. Notices to us must be sent through our Feedback page. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Save AI with respect to the Service and supersede any prior agreement. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
